Do you hate looking for a new job because you find interviews to be just so stressful? They can be, sure. But are you actually avoiding finding your dream career because you’re not sure you can ace a series of interviews?
Yup, I said it. It is. By doing so, it is self-sabotaging your own life and your own future.
Of course, an interview can be difficult and maybe won’t go your way, but does that mean you should settle?
A lot of job seekers come to me and harbor the fear that they are not “worth it” or “worthy” of a career change, earning more, putting themselves out there, and talking about their accomplishments.
Lots of them think that they need to go back to school for an advanced degree or stop changing roles because it will make them look like a “job hopper” or worse- like someone who can’t find their fit because they can’t get along with others.
Female job seekers are saying that they feel like an imposter because they don’t believe their own accomplishments, let alone having someone else believe it.
This is why I weave mindset work throughout my career coaching.
I understand how common it is for smart, accomplished, driven women who want to advance in their careers to get trapped in a role because they feel like talking about their accomplishments, asserting themselves, and having to “sell it” can be extremely difficult.
If you’re feeling this way, then know that you’re not alone.
You must have specific methods to clear these roadblocks, including training your mind to “brag” about your work, unblocking your negative self-talk, feelings of irrelevance, and limiting beliefs around success and money.
This is just a bit of what I help my clients do.
My proven mindset work will help you to develop the ability to sell your skills, develop a positive and healthy relationship with yourself, understand how amazing you truly are, and why you deserve your dream career!
If you are ready to take action on clearing your mindset blocks so you too can advance to the next level in your career then, click here to book your strategy session.

As a Career Coach, I think about this from candidate’s perspective but as an HR Consultant, I also consider it from an organizational viewpoint as well. So, what are some of the illegal topics?
